PAMF Sponsors Burlingame Spirit Run
The Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) is the premier sponsor of the 2nd Annual Burlingame Spirit Run on Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2013. All proceeds will go to the Burlingame Community Education Foundation to support Burlingame’s public elementary and middle schools.
Starting and ending at Burlingame Intermediate School, the Spirit Run includes 5K and 10K events. A free health expo with fitness activities, demos and booths staffed by PAMF doctors and employees will occur after the races.
“Thriving schools mean healthy children and healthy lives, and that’s why we are committed to supporting this wonderful community event,” says Linda Oberstein, M.D., chief medical director of PAMF’s Mills-Peninsula Division. “It’s a great opportunity to be part of the local community and meet our neighbors.”
